A NOTE ABOUT THE PROTAGONIST

The best things
start with a little
“what if?”

I’m Joe. I connect the dots between
people, ideas, and getting things done.

I’m Joe Habibi Hakim, Head of Operations at Fig. My work has taken me from finance to partnerships and product marketing, and now to founding operations.

Outside of work, you’ll find a different kind of exploration: a climb up Hawk Hill, a food map with too many pins, or the next game to get lost in.

A NOTE FROM BEHIND THE PAGES

Ink, pixels,
& possibilities.

A personal adventure album, inspired by the clear lines, expressive lettering, and sense of exploration in the comics I love.

THE LETTERING
Polsyh, Adroitwhiz’s recreation of Neil Hyslop’s English Tintin lettering. Paired with DM Sans and Instrument Serif.
THE ILLUSTRATIONS
Original generated scenes based on my character, actual home office, and reference views of Hawk Hill. Brought to life with FAL.
THE MAKING
Next.js, React, and Vercel. An evolving side project, with its source open to exploration.
